Your appointments are very important to us here at TouchUps Salon, as that is time we set aside especially for you; our valued client. We understand that sometimes last-minute schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 72 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply if 24 hours’ notice is not given. As of 6/1/18 we will be asking for a credit card to have on file to reserve your appointment slot.
– A cancellation made with less than 24-hours’ notice will result in a charge equal to 25% of the reserved service amount.
– “NO SHOWS” will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount.
– If you would like to cancel an appointment the day of the appointment, you must give notice 4 hours prior to your appointment time. A charge of 25% of the reserved service amount will still be applied.
The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone.
CONFIRMATION EMAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES
As a courtesy, we will EMAIL you as well as TEXT you to confirm your service appointments 72 and 24 hours prior to your appointment date. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.
When you schedule an appointment that requires three or more hours of service time, we do ask that you place a $100 deposit with us to hold the appointment time. This deposit will be applied to your service total when you check out for your appointment. If you provide us with 24 hour notice of cancellation for an appointment that required a deposit, 75% of the deposit will be refunded to you. If you do not provide 24 notice of cancellation, the deposit will be forfeit.
We understand how hard it is finding time to spend for yourself, and that our clients’ “me time” is important! We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your appointments. However, our policy prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please ensure that they will be supervised, as our salon cannot provide childcare.Well-behaved children are always welcome to sit in our waiting areas, but some appointments can last up to 4 hours or more, and we’re sure small children would not enjoy sitting still for so long.
Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy and congested service area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. It is for these reasons that we politely ask our clients to find childcare if at all possible before their appointments. Thank you!
Payment & Gratuity:
We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Android Pay! Gratuity is not included in our pricing, but we do accept tips on credit card purchases as well as in cash. Our stylists work on a level system, which means our pricing for hair services is tiered to reflect their expertise. The prices quoted are the starting price for the service, and may be higher depending on the stylist.
